Reading Gallery
The Reading Gallery is a collection of images of readers and acts of reading. Each time you visit my blog’s home page you will see one of the images in the upper left. The particular image is randomly selected. I will be adding to the collection slowly, and each new item will be introduced with a post.
Images were obtained from artists distributing them under a Creative Commons license or with their explicit permission to me. The image may be edited for size. Credit is given to each artist and a link is provided from the image to its source page. Wherever possible, the artist is notified of the use of the image and may request its removal.
Please feel free to email me an image for inclusion in the collection. It must be an image that you have created, or one that is licensed for use under Creative Commons. I particularly like images of ordinary people deeply absorbed in reading, and ones that contrast the speed of modern life with slow reading, but I will consider any reading-related image.
