Fall Election, and 2 Ways to Improve Blood Donations

3 September 2009 No Comment

A Canadian election appears imminent. Canadians can hear the war drums from the Liberal camp, and the Conservatives are priming to meet them in what looks like a fall election. At this point, I predict a Liberal minority. Works for me.

Two ways to improve Canadian Blood Services. One, let me register postal codes or clinics online and automatically send me an email when donations are being taken. I suggested this to them and they agreed to manually send me an email, but my location changes. Please automate this. Two, I just tried to donate blood at a roving clinic but they close for lunch. Donating blood is like hitting a moving target. Work hours are not convenient for everyone so please spell each other off over lunch.
